Short about thingie:

This is a webcomic about a girl called Malin that has met one day a cat that claimed to be an eel. It has also turned out that the said cat happened to have some magical skills...

The world:

Is pretty much like the one we live in. Except for there are people that have strange powers... But they certainly aren't the majority of the population.

The history:

My first idea for the comic came about in March 2008 (quite a long time ago). This is where the first few pages come from. Since then I have redeveloped the idea quite a few times and had several massive breaks in working on it (real life was calling).

Why eelcat? At the time when it started I really really loved the Red Guy from Cow&Chicken and I am Weasel. I really wanted to create a crazy character. Why Eelcat then? A friend of mine (Martynka) used to have a cat (Isrit) that she would call with may names, like deer, eel and tons of other things. This was how the connection of the two species was born ;).

Why Malin? I used to read a lot of Astrid Lindgren's books when I was a kid. Malin was a name that reocurred quite a lot (as far as I remember) and I just like it. This is it, really :)

The art:

Is meant to be pretty simple and allow me to do a lot of pages quickly. I can do more complicated etc. stuff but I choose not to in this case.
